Community organizations invited to rehabilitate, operate, and maintain 8450 Mira Mesa Boulevard
The City of San Diego released a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals, to rehabilitate, operate, maintain and lease a portion of the City-owned real property located at 8450 Mira Mesa Boulevard. The City of San Diego is seeking proposals that serve the best interest of the public, including the recreational, social, educational, and cultural needs of the local community.
The Property area is approximately 6,438 square feet. Originally built as a City Library, most recently, the facility has been leased as a teen/young adult business, recreation, and educational center. The Property is attached to a separate leasehold area, which is currently occupied by San Diego Police Department Senior Volunteer Patrol.
“This community asset has sat dormant and under-utilized for nearly a year. I hope the city is inundated with proposals for the property. Mira Mesa residents deserve a quality program provider,” stated Councilmember Chris Cate.
